WHAT'S AT STAKE
With an outside shot at playing in the BCS championship game, Oregon can't afford a letup in its final two games. The Ducks, at No. 5 in the BCS standings, will need help, but it's still a possibility if they beat the Wildcats and rival Oregon State. Arizona is trying to bounce back after frustrating losses to Washington State and UCLA.
Oregon's run defense vs. Arizona RB Ka'Deem Carey. The Ducks have one of the nation's best run defenses, allowing 143 yards per game, and are the only team to hold Arizona under 100 yards the past two seasons. They will face their biggest test of the season against Carey, who is second nationally with 150.3 yards per game and has rushed for at least 100 yards in 13 straight games.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Oregon: QB Marcus Mariota. The dual-threat sophomore is still a leading Heisman Trophy contender despite the Ducks' loss to Stanford. Mariota has thrown a Pac-12 record 343 passes without an interception - 285 this season - and has accounted for 34 touchdowns, with a TD pass in all 23 games of his career.
Arizona: LB Scooby Wright. Wright has put together an impressive first season, tying for the team lead with 70 tackles, which ranks second nationally among freshmen. He also is tied for the team lead with eight tackles for loss.
