PHOENIX -- Veterans Day is what I like to call a double-whammy shopping day. You'll enjoy great Veterans Day deals along with early holiday deals. A bonus is that the stores won't be nearly as crowded as they will be on Black Friday.

Here's a rundown of the deals I mentioned on Good Morning Arizona today:

Turkey/wine deals: Get a free Honeysuckle turkey with the coupon on the ad at Albertsons (or print it off here). Spend $100 or more, get a free turkey up to 15.99 pounds. Spend $150 or more, get a free turkey up to 24 pounds.

Also at Albertsons, wine is 25 percent off when you buy six or more bottles -- perfect for stocking up for Thanksgiving. You can pick up bottles of Clos du Bois or Cupcake Chardonnay for just $6.66 each. Wine is 25 percent off when you buy six or more bottles at Fry’s too. They have great deals on La Crema, Kendall Jackson, and Clos du Bois.

Michael’s: Print a coupon for 25 percent off your entire purchase, including sale items. You can also show the coupon on your phone or mobile device.

Home Depot: You can enjoy Black Friday deals on appliances now. Hot deals include a Samsung 28-foot french door refrigerator for $1,798, usually $3,199 (that’s 44 percent off). If you need a new washer and dryer, you can get the LG steam front loaders for just $599 each, usually $899 each. I have this set and love that you can steam your clothes to get wrinkles out on some items, no iron required.

Target: All games are buy two get one free right now. You can order online here and get free shipping if you spend $50+, saving you time (and money in gas).

Ad match: You’ll save a ton of money this season if you keep track of what’s on sale where.

Walmart’s price-match guarantee says that even if you find a lower advertised price later (all the way through Dec. 24), they’ll give you the difference. Thanksgiving, Black Friday, online, and a few other ads are excluded. Click here for full details.

Target will price match through Dec. 21. Their guarantee includes Amazon and a few other sites but excludes Black Friday deals. Click here for more information.

Best Buy, Toys r Us, and Staples have price match guarantees too. It never hurts to ask if a store you’re in will match a lower price you’ve found.

Online daily deals/gifts on deal sites: I personally love shopping online. It saves time, gas, impulse purchases, and you can often find extra coupon codes to save even more.

Check out Groupon Goods, Living Social shop, and Deal Chicken national deals for some great gifts at really nice prices.

I found these Beats by Dre headphones for $79.99 shipped on Groupon Goods, usually $129.99. Click here to snag the deal before it’s gone.

Amazon, Best Buy, and Staples have a new deal of the day each day. I’m sure to check them so if you come back to daily (or more!), you’ll find the best of the best.

Babbo: If all of this shopping has you hungry, click here to enjoy $40 to spend at Babbo Italian Eatery for just $20. Buy two certificates (doesn’t two nights without cooking sound wonderful?) and use promo code ALICIA to get $10 off. You’ll pay just $30 for two $40 certificates. There are six locations around town.

Deals Diva Alicia Markham has one goal -- to help you live life better for less.

"I only post deals I truly love and would buy or participate in myself," she says.

A stay-at-home mom of two, Markham describes herself as frugal and says she is passionate about saving money. She wants to help you hang on to your hard-earned dollars, too.

"I think it's so important to save without sacrificing your quality of life," she says.

Markham's blog won Phoenix Magazine's Best of the Valley recognition in 2011 and 2012.

If there's a deal to be had, Markham will find it and share it with you.
