SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- When Esquire Magazine went looking for the nation's 20 best new restaurant, their search took them to Scottsdale, home of Virtù.

3TV's Javier Soto headed to the recently opened Bespoke Inn to chat with the man behind the restaurant, Chef Gio Osso.

"I've long admired the inventive southwestern cooking of chef Gio Osso, and now, with just twenty-five seats at Virtù, he's proven himself one of America's finest interpreters of Mediterranean food — though he adds some Arizona swagger," John Mariani wrote. "It's always obvious when a chef cooks what he himself loves to eat, and Osso does, turning out inspired dishes...."

Virtù, which opened in June, also made Phoenix Magazine's list of best new restaurants earlier this year.
