GLENDALE, Ariz.-- A Glendale man has won $25,000 in a national costume contest after dressing up as an invisible cowboy.

Bill Freitag particpated in the Hub Network's First Annual Halloween Bash in Santa Monica, Calif., and won the competition for best costume.

The costume contest was hosted by "Saturday Night Live" star Kenan Thompson and featured several celebrity judges including Martha Stewart.

Freitag and his wife have been making creative costumes and going to contests since they got married in 1979, he said. Over the years, they have won some trips with their costumes.

The costume contest will be aired on Hub Network on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m.
