TEMPE, Ariz. -- A new show in the Valley called "Common Ground," focuses on a theme expressed in its title, that we all share a common ground in life.
Common Ground is performed by EPIK Dance Company and is performance art with a message. The show looks at the idea that all people come frome different walks of life and experiences, but are all connected by a common ground.
EPIK Dance Company's mission is to entertain auidences while also teaching them.
The dance company's shows focus on social issues such as homelessness, poverty, and how we can all get along. The issues covered may be serious, but EPIK Dance Company also incorporates humor into their shows.
EPIK Dance Company also has an anti-bullying show that they perform at middle schools across the Valley.
Common Ground will be performed at Tempe Center for the Arts on Friday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, October 19 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 for general admission, $20 for presale, and $18 for students, seniors, and military.
