PHOENIX -- The folks who keep us safe on the roadways got in some training Tuesday, and our Pilot/Reporter Bruce Haffner gave us a view from the Fort McDowell Casino Newschopper.

Bruce flew over the Department of Public Safety motor officers' training in South Mountain Park. DPS officers told Bruce it's a great place to practice riding the big police bikes because it offers challenging riding conditions.

Meantime, in the parking lot of Tempe Diablo Stadium, the Tempe Police motors practiced their slow maneuvers. It takes a lot of training to become a motor officer and a passion for riding.
