PHOENIX -- Halloween season means it's time to decorate those pumpkins. And this year, why not make your jack-o'-lantern stand out in the crowd?
You don't have to actually "carve" a pumpkin to create a great look. You can skip the mess and simply head to Michaels for some unique craft ideas.
On Tuesday's Good Morning Arizona, an expert in pumpkin crafting gave us some tips to create the perfect pumpkin.
"We have classes of course, but everyone goes on Pinterest," says Michaels floral designer Pam McLaughlin. "That's where I got these ideas! My daughter was sending them to me all day yesterday."
You can use ribbons, paint, buttons, even candy to adorn your gourd. If you want to keep it really simple, Martha Stewart provides a kit to simply cover your pumpkin with a drawstring cloth.
You can also top off your gourd with fancy ribbons or Halloween-themed flowers.
Michaels offers classes on a wide variety of crafting topics, including cake decorating, paper crafting and jewelry making. Learn more at www.michaels.com.
