PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said they arrested a man and a woman after finding a "significant amount" of illegal drugs inside a home Tuesday afternoon.

Guadalupe Romero-Beltran, 29, and Liliana Margarita Reyes, 34, were booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges including possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and money laundering. Romero-Beltran also faces a weapons violation charge.

The arrests came after Phoenix police officers served a search warrant at a home near Central Avenue and Union Hills Drive in connection with a drug investigation they were conducting with federal partners.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said investigators found 19.5 kilograms of cocaine, 130 grams of methamphetamine, an SKS rifle and more than $4,000 cash.

Thompson said the drugs were valued conservatively at $400,000 before being broken down into street-size dosages or units.

Romero-Beltran is being held without bond. Reyes is being held on $200,000 bond.
