Hit and run suspect wanted by El Mirage police

EL MIRAGE, Ariz. -- El Mirage police are searching for the individual who fled the scene after striking a woman on a bicycle with a car.

Police said on the morning of Sept. 19 officers responded to the intersection of Dysart Road and Soledad Street after receiving word of a hit and run.

Officers arrived to find a woman suffering from serious injuries. The suspect reportedly dragged the woman and her bike more than 100 feet before fleeing the area.

The suspect was said to be driving a dark or gray pickup truck or SUV type vehicle.
