TEMPE, Ariz. -- It's expected to be a big party weekend around the Arizona State University campus this weekend, as the Sun Devils prepare to take on the USC Trojans Saturday night. And Tempe police are preparing to step up safety measures around town.

This comes as we get our first look at a man wanted in connection to a recent incident of sexual abuse near the ASU campus. Police have released a sketch of the suspect and are hoping someone will recognize him.

The incident happened at the apartment complex called The District, near Apache Boulevard and Rural Road. This is one of three reported sex crimes in the area in the past two weeks. The District is also the same complex where a student was badly beaten in an elevator several weeks ago.

In the most recent case, Tempe police say the man walked into a woman's unlocked apartment while she was sleeping, and then touched her inappropriately. He fled before police arrived.

The suspect is described as Caucasian or light-skinned Hispanic, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and around 180 pounds. It's not clear if the suspect lives at the complex or was just visiting.

Tempe police say they're planning to triple patrols in problem-prone areas around town this weekend. They're also reminding students to lock their doors and be responsible.
