Firearms stolen from Willcox gun store; $5K reward offered

WILLCOX, Ariz. – Nineteen firearms were reported stolen from a gun store in Willcox, Ariz., and authorities are offering a reward for information about the theft.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, someone took 13 handguns, four rifles and two shotguns from Apache Arms sometime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 11.

According to the sheriff's office, forced entry was made to a storage container where the firearms were kept.

The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the sheriff's office are investigating the theft.

Apache Arms, 915 Arizona Ranger Trail, is a federally licensed gun dealer.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
