PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona State Forestry Division is scheduled to release a report this weekend on the deaths of 19 elite firefighters at the Yarnell Hill wildfire three months ago.
Forestry officials announced Tuesday that the report is completed and will be released to the public and media at 10 a.m. Saturday.
A news conference is scheduled at Prescott High School with forestry officials and investigators discussing findings in the report.
Nineteen members of the Prescott-based Granite Mountain Hotshots died June 30 when a wind-fueled, out-of-control wildfire overran them as they tried to protect a former gold-mining town from the inferno.
