MESA, Ariz. -- An East Valley massage parlor was raided this week for allegedly selling sex.

The Asian Star Massage at N. Country Club and W. Brown Road was shut down after it was discovered that a prostitution ring was being run inside.

Asian Star Massage had been under surveillance, and on Thursday Mesa police stopped a customer who had left the establishment on a traffic violation.

During the stop, police said the man admitted to having sex with one of the employees.

Police proceeded to raid the business, at which time they reportedly caught an employee in the act.

Kyon Patton, 53, is alleged to have been behind the entire operation.

She was arrested for operating a house of prostitution and running a business on a revoked manager’s license.

Employee Ria Silva, 30, was also arrested for prostitution.

Thursday’s arrest wasn’t Patton’s first run-in with the law.

She was previously arrested in California for running a house of prostitution.
