MCSO still searching for man accused of killing bicyclist

PHOENIX -- The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for manslaughter.

On Sept. 23, 2006, MCSO said Christopher Flores was driving eastbound on McKellips Road just east of Dobson Road when he fatally struck Jason Wedo, who was on a bicycle.

Flores was found to be under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash, and on May 8, 2008 a warrant was issued for his arrest.

MCSO and the U.S. Marshals Service have made numerous attempts to arrest Flores, but he has eluded capture.

Flores is 25 years old, and at the time of the collision he was 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed approximately 165 pounds.

He was last known to live in Scottsdale and was last seen with brown hair and eyes.
