PHOENIX -- This weekend marks our official change of seasons with the autumnal equinox at 1:44 p.m. Sunday.  Coincidentally, a cold front will bring changes to the state on Sunday for our first day of fall.

Today will be a warm one, with Valley highs near 104 degrees under sunny skies.  Tonight look for mostly clear skies and overnight lows in the 70s.

Tomorrow, a cold front brings a chance of showers to the high country of Arizona and a very slight chance of showers to the Valley.  Look for partly sunny skies in the Valley for your Saturday and a high of 100 degrees.

Cooler and drier air moves in Sunday for Valley highs in the mid 90s and overnight lows in the 60s around the Valley by Sunday night into Monday morning.

Temperatures are expected to stay mild through much of next week.
