Hi Fi Kitchen & Cocktails' burger with bourbon BBQ sauce

Serves 1
Bourbon BBQ Sauce
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/4 cup cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon cayenne
• 1/4 cup bourbon (Jim Beam)
• 8oz ground beef patties
• Sliced pepper jack cheese
• Pulled pork
• 2 homemade onion rings
• Bourbon BBQ sauce
• 1, Hawaiian sweet bun
1. To prepare the Bourbon Sauce, sauté garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Deglaze pan with bourbon. Note: the bourbon should catch fire. Be careful! Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for 1 hour. Let sit aside.
2. To prepare the burger, season patties with your favorite seasoning, grill on each side for 10 minutes. Do not press down on the patty.
3. To assemble the burger, spread bourbon BBQ sauce on bottom side of the bun, add patty, top with cheese and let melt. Add pulled pork and onion rings.
