Fry's President Flora dies after suffering heart attack

PHOENIX -- Fry’s Food Stores President Jon Flora died on Friday.
According to the Phoenix Business Journal, the 58-year-old died of a heart attack.
Flora had been the president of Fry’s for the past six years.
Flora was well known in the Valley for his commercials and charity work.
Fry's has since released the following statement about Flora's passing:
“We are deeply saddened to lose Jon, our dear friend and extraordinary leader,” said Dave Dillon, Kroger Chairman and CEO. “Jon leaves a legacy of enthusiasm and passion for doing what’s right for our customers, our neighbors and our associates. He touched the lives of countless people in our company as well as throughout our industry and community. He was a true ‘servant leader’ who mentored many associates at every level of our business and an incredible champion of Associate Engagement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”
