MESA, Ariz. --  Mesa police caught a man they say was trying to film a pregnant woman in the bathroom of a bookstore.

The suspect, Patrick Jolayemi, 28, is a registered sex offender and was already on probation. He was even wearing a tracking device on his ankle.

The incident allegedly happened at the Bookmans in Mesa on Monday afternoon.

"She happened to look down and she realized there was a hand and a cellphone below the edge of the stall," said Detective Steve Berry of the Mesa Police Department.

Police believe Jolayemi snuck into the women's bathroom and hid in a stall until a woman entered the stall next to him. When she pulled down her pants, he reportedly put his camera phone under the stall and masturbated as he filmed.

"This is very disturbing," Berry said. "When you go to the restroom, certainly, you expect a little bit of privacy. And to have your privacy invaded this way, it's very disturbing, besides the fact that it's very illegal."

The woman ran out of the bathroom and told a manager, who grabbed a security guard. The guard tackled the suspect as he tried to run from the store.

Jolayemi will face one felony charge for taking those pictures.
