GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Storms hit the West Valley Wednesday night, toppling trees, leaving streets flooded, and knocking out power.

APS said approximately 3,000 customers were without power from Goodyear to Surprise due to power lines being knocked down.

Litchfield Park, Buckeye and Goodyear had more than an inch of rain as of 9 p.m., while locations like Glendale and the Deer Valley Airport had received significant rain as well.

A flood warning remains in place for the far West Valley until 10:45 p.m.

3TV Meteorologist Royal Norman says Wednesday night might not be the last we see of the rain.

There’s a chance for rain both Thursday and Friday, with conditions starting to dry out by the weekend.
