SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A missing cockatoo was found Wednesday morning in downtown Scottsdale.

No one knows how the rose breasted cockatoo ended up in Scottsdale, or who it belongs to, but the bird appears to be in good health.

Jan Miller, an expert at Liberty Wildlife in Scottsdale, says it’s possible the bird ended up in Scottsdale by mistake.

“It probably was blown off track in the storm if it was up on a perch or something happened and it ended up lost and I’m sure somebody is looking for her,” said Miller.
