Silent Witness offering reward in Tempe armed robbery

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Silent Witness is asking for the public’s help locating two men wanted for armed robbery and aggravated assault charges.

Silent Witness says in the early morning hours of Aug. 21 two women were sitting inside a vehicle in the area of Southern Avenue and McClintock Drive when they were approached by two men.

A Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s reportedly approached the passenger side, while a black man said to be in his early 20s approached the driver’s side, pointed a gun at the driver, and demanded the keys.

The man then shot the driver before both men fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Impala.

Silent Witness says the Hispanic suspect is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has short, dark brown hair and a clean shaven face.

The black suspect is said to be between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall, and has a thin build.
