PHOENIX (AP) -- Much of western Arizona remains under a flash flood watch through Monday evening.
Areas covered by the watch include Yuma, Parker, Prescott, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and communities in Mohave County.
The National Weather Service says tropical moisture continues to stream into the region and that widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger into the evening hours.
Locally heavy rainfall is likely from the stronger showers.
The Mohave Daily News reports that rain in the Bullhead City area closed several roads Sunday as runoff deposited mud, rocks and debris in low-lying areas.
