COCHISE, Ariz. -- The Cochise Count Sheriff’s Office is turning to the public for help finding an assault suspect.

According to CCSO, deputies received a call Monday morning from a man who said he had been on the phone with his girlfriend while she was at his home in Cochise when he heard her scream and the phone went dead.

The man said he called back, but was unable to reach his girlfriend.

Deputies responded to the home and found the girlfriend lying on the floor of the living room.

The girlfriend would go on to tell deputies that she had arrived at the home earlier that morning to discover a red Dodge pickup truck with fake bull testicles hanging from the bumper backed up to the home.

The girlfriend was on the phone with the boyfriend when she walked inside to find a man trying to take a television off the wall.

The woman said when the man saw her he threw an object at her and then knocked her onto the floor. She told deputies the man then assaulted her before leaving the home.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s. He’s between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a stocky build and brown and gray hair.

Anyone who may have any information is asked to call the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office at 520-432-9500.
