PHOENIX – A fire damaged two mobile homes near 17th Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix Sunday afternoon.

Phoenix firefighters arrived shortly after 2 p.m. and found fire coming from two single-wide trailers, according to Capt. Jonathan Jacobs. At least one vehicle was burned.

Fire crews were able to stop the progression of the fire and no other trailers were affected.

No injuries were reported.

Jacobs said a family of seven has been displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials believe the fire started in one of the homes and spread to the other.
