PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are showing off a new look.
On Thursday night, the team unveiled their new jerseys during a ceremony at the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall.
Just like in years past, the Suns will wear white at home and purple on the road. However, this year the Suns will sport an orange, sleeved uniform that will be an alternate jersey for Friday home games starting in January.
The Suns and Adidas have been working to develop and design the jerseys for the past two years with the help of Valley-based ad agency Fisher.
“We wanted the uniform to reflect our rich tradition and the uptempo style that is synonymous with Suns basketball,” said Phoenix Suns President Jason Rowley. “We feel like we have integrated those elements into a modern look and innovative design that every Suns fan can be proud of.”
Each new jersey is available for pre-order exclusively at Suns.com.
Fans who buy a jersey during the pre-order will receive free shipping.
