FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- A Flagstaff woman will need to make a little extra room in her house after adopting an animal in need.

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control says the 28-pound cat named Albert they recently took in has found a home in Northern Arizona.

MCACC said Albert’s new owner, Mary Baker, is very passionate about animal rescue and hopes to encourage more people to adopt.

Baker will also be counting Albert’s calories and with the hope of giving him a healthy makeover.
