GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A valley mom wants answers from her daughter's school after she claims the girl was put on the wrong bus and dropped off at the wrong location.

Ashley Pruett says it happened Tuesday afternoon, the second day of kindergarten. She says her 4-year-old daughter was placed on the wrong school bus on her ride home from Sunset Vista Elementary in Glendale, and then dropped off at the wrong address.

"I waited and waited. The bus came, but she wasn't on the bus," said Pruett.

Pruett says little Brynn was suppose to be dropped off near the house at 67th Lane and Diana, but instead she was dropped off at 71st Avenue and Grand.

"The feeling of not knowing where you child is, it shouldn't have happened," said Pruett.

Pruett says she's glad a little boy noticed her daughter wandering around, and brought her to an adult who then called the school. Pruett now wants answers from Sunset Vista Elementary.

"School policy is that parents must be there when a kindergartner is dropped off and no one was there. That doesn't make sense," said Pruett.

3TV reached out to the school late in the day on Tuesday, but we have yet to hear back about what happened.
