PHOENIX -- A family of three is displaced after a house fire early Monday morning.

At about 4 a.m., Phoenix and Glendale fire departments responded to the fire near 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road.

Officials say the family initially called 911 for a possible burglary in progress until they discovered there was actually a large fire coming from the garage area.

No injuries were reported. The fire departments are assisting the family with shelter.

It is unclear how the fire started.
