PHOENIX -- Our monsoon break continues for the Valley, with a hot and dry forecast for the new week ahead.
With high pressure centered to our east, monsoon moisture remains limited across Arizona. That high pressure will slowly rebuild over the Southwest this week, with monsoon moisture slowly returning to the region.
In the meantime, look for low-end storm chances in the high country and hot and dry weather in the Valley.
Temperatures should warm to between 107 and 109 all this week in the Valley under abundant sunshine, with a slight chance of storms returning to the deserts by Friday and into the weekend. Overnight lows will bottom out in the upper 70s and low 80s.
