TEMPE, Ariz. -- Tempe police say they’ve arrested the man who was grabbing women’s buttocks in East Valley grocery stores.

Police said 21-year-old Jesse Jimenez was arrested Thursday at his residence following a brief struggle that required him to be tazed.

Police said Jimenez committed his first assault on June 25, and would eventually commit four more offenses over the next month at stores in Tempe and Gilbert.

According to authorities, Jimenez worked at a Walmart in Mesa, and was approached by a co-worker who reportedly recognized him after seeing the reports on the local news.

The co-worker reportedly printed out one of the photos that was featured on the news and confronted Jimenez at work. He denied any involvement, but then walked out of work and didn't return.

Following his arrest, Jimenez reportedly confessed to the accusations.

He has been booked into the Tempe City Jail on four counts of assault.
