PHOENIX -- Arizonans were treated to a cloudy, cool and wet monsoon day on Tuesday, but Wednesday brings a warm-up.
Look for clearing clouds, with mostly sunny skies in the Valley by the afternoon and a high of around 102 degrees. That's about three degrees below average for this time of year.
Clear skies continue tonight for an overnight low of 82 degrees, with most Valley neighborhoods waking up Thursday to the upper 70s.
Tomorrow brings a high of 104 degrees, and we'll be near 106 by the weekend with more sunshine and dry weather expected.
There is still a chance of rain and thunderstorms in the high country today, but it looks like the Valley is in for a break from the monsoon with slim chances for any rain for the next week.
