$10,000 Reward offered in pawn shop robbery

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for three men who robbed a pawn shop in west Phoenix.

It happened July 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the SuperPawn on Grand Avenue at 35th Avenue.

According to detectives from the Phoenix Police Department, the perpetrators backed their vehicle into a handicapped parking spot in front of the store and put on ski masks. 

The men exited the vehicle and entered the store. 

One man pointed a gun at the employees and held them at gunpoint while the other two men broke the display case glass and removed jewelry which they put into black bags they brought with them. 

One of the men also demanded the necklace that one of the employees was wearing. 

The men left the store with their black bags and fled eastbound in their vehicle.

The suspects are described as black men. They were wearing ski masks and sweatshirts.

Their vehicle is described as silver or faded gold, late 1990-early 2000's, Buick, 4-door, possibly a Park Avenue.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by CashAmerica SuperPawn in this case for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the robbers.
