PHOENIX -- The big prize for the Powerball lottery just got bigger.
The jackpot has been bumped up from $290 million to about $300 million for Saturday night's draw, according to officials.
In the past year, Arizona has been a very lucky state. In May, two winning tickets were sold in Chandler and Safford worth $1 million each. A man in Fountain Hills also won half the record Powerball jackpot in December.
