Glendale police seek driver in hit-and-run

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Police need help looking for a driver who fled the scene after hitting a boy who was riding his bicycle Tuesday evening.
 
It happened at about 7:00 p.m. near 45th Avenue and Mountain View Road. The boy was riding his bike when he was struck by the vehicle, which kept driving after hitting him.
 
Police said the child was transported by air to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He is still hospitalized.
 
Based on witness statements and evidence, police believe the vehicle was a silver 2010 Buick Lacrosse sedan. The only confirmed information they have about the suspect is he is a white male.
