PHOENIX -- The political publication The Hill says Arizona is home to one of the best looking people in Washington, D.C.

Republican Senator Jeff Flake tops this year’s list of The Hill’s “50 Most Beautiful People.”

The Hill describes Flake as “Mr. All American,” and notes that he is able to keep a youthful appearance despite his love affair with Diet Coke and Moose Tracks Ice Cream.

"I enjoy sports all the time," Flake told The Hill. "Baseball. I like pickup basketball. I jog, bike, you name it."

Flake isn’t the only lawmaker to catch The Hill’s eye.

South Carolina’s Tim Scott, Hawaii’s Tulsi Gabbard, Florida’s Frederica Wilson, and Texas’ Beto O’Rourke also made the list.

Others who made the “50 Most Beautiful People” list include CNN’s Jake Tapper, and ABC’s Claire Shipman and Mary Bruce.

This is the tenth year that The Hill has released a “50 Most Beautiful People” list.

This year’s list was selected from more than 500 entries. To be considered for the list one had to be a member of Congress, a congressional staffer, a campaign aide, a lobbyist, or an executive branch employee. Capitol Hill personnel were also considered for the list.

“For the last ten years, we’ve enjoyed letting our hair down in showcasing people who, some high-profile, some not so, most importantly have great stories to tell,” said Hugo Gurdon, editor-in-chief of The Hill. “We’re extraordinarily proud to mark a decade of what’s become a mainstay for DC and political enthusiasts, and look forward to ten more years.”
