Suspected serial flasher pleads not guilty to indecent exposure

PHOENIX (AP) -- A Chandler man accused of exposing himself in front of adults and children in numerous apartment complexes since January has pleaded not guilty.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 18-year-old Cameron Strempel entered his plea Wednesday.

His next scheduled court date is Sept. 10.

Strempel was arrested July 16 by Chandler police on suspicion of one count of indecent exposure and one count of public sexual indecency.

Police say witnesses identified Strempel as the flasher in a photo lineup.

Authorities say of the 10 incidents believed to involve Strempel, two involved children ages 6 and 12.
