PHOENIX (AP) -- Lawyers for an Iraqi man are asking a judge to postpone his trial in federal court on firearms charges.
Abdullatif Ali Aldosary's trial is set to begin Aug. 6, but his lawyers asked that it be moved to Sept. 3 to give them more time to prepare for trial.
He has pleaded not guilty in federal court to three counts of being a felon in possession of a gun and ammunition.
In Pinal County, Aldosary faces state charges in the Nov. 30 bombing outside a Social Security Administration building in Casa Grande, about 50 miles south of Phoenix.
He also is charged in Pinal County with first-degree murder in the Nov. 27 death of a man who worked at a grain business in the community of Maricopa.
