PHOENIX -- After two very active monsoon weeks across Arizona, this week looks quiet by comparison.
Drier air is moving into the state, limiting storm chances to the mountains and higher elevations of the state through midweek.
Temperatures will begin to climb in the deserts, with the Valley warming to about 105 degrees today under sunny skies, but up to 108 degrees by Wednesday.
Overnight lows will dip to the low 80s and lower humidity can be expected through midweek as well.
On Thursday, monsoon moisture is forecast to move back into the state, with increased storm chances beginning Thursday and lasting thorugh the weekend.
