TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals have reached a contract agreement with their first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

The team announced on Sunday that they have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with guard Jonathan Cooper.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cooper was selected seventh overall out of the University of North Carolina.

With his contract negotiations now behind him, Cooper will join the rest of the team at training camp at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

The Cardinals’ first preseason game will be Aug. 9 when they head to Green Bay to play the Packers.

The Cardinals kick off the regular season Sept. 8 in St. Louis against the Rams.
