SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A man shot and killed his estranged wife's boyfriend at an apartment complex before shooting and killing himself at his wife's office, according to a spokesman for the Scottsdale Police Department.

It happened Tuesday morning at locations close to each other near 92nd Street and Raintree Drive.

The suicide occurred at some type of office building complex at 15100 N 92nd Street. The address of the apartment complex is 9529 E. Raintree Drive. The name of the complex is Broadstone Apartments.

A witness called police to report the shooting at the apartment complex. When officers arrived they found Louise DesCoteas, 45, dead in an external stairwell.

"I saw the dead body laying on the stairs," said apartment resident Jordan Butler. "His hands were just kind of folded across and just eerie looking."

The suspected gunman, 47-year-old Scott Jablonsky, then drove to his wife's office where he shot and killed himself in the employee break room.
