YUMA, Ariz. -- U.S. Border Patrol agents seized 162 pounds of marijuana that had been dropped from an ultralight aircraft in southwestern Arizona Wednesday morning.

Agents said the aircraft was seen crossing the Colorado River west of Yuma. They tracked the ultralight as it flew into Arizona then turned around and crossed back into Mexico.

Agents searched the area and found several bundles of marijuana tied to a metal frame in a field.

The drugs were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
