TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say an amber alert has been canceled for a 21-month-old boy allegedly abducted by his mother from a daycare facility in Tempe.

Tempe police say 34-year-old Olivia Mosley was been taken into custody Thursday evening in Guadalupe and the boy was found safe.

Mosley allegedly removed her child with force from the Sunrise Preschool about 3 p.m. after learning Child Protective Services planned to take custody of the boy.

While in the daycare, police say Mosley allegedly got into a physical fight with a staff member before driving off.

Police say Mosley was considered dangerous to herself and others because she hasn't been taking her medication.

They also say she has had prior contact with police.
