PHOENIX -- A Phoenix man's dog was stolen out of his truck while he went into a Circle K  to grab a soda and a hot dog for his dog, Kilo.

On Tuesday at around 7:30 p.m., Delbert Weaver went into the store near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road after work.
Weaver left Keelo in the car with the windows cracked and the air conditioning running.

Someone opened the truck's door and stole the pit bull and American bulldog mix, leaving Weaver almost in tears.

"He [Keelo] means the world to me. I mean he's a great dog. I'm lost for words without him," said Weaver.

Weaver spent Wednesday posting reward posters around the Circle K hoping someone will return Keelo, who Weaver describes as like his child.

"I have two grown kids and now they're gone. He's like my child. He's with me every day. The routine is just not there now," said Weaver.

A police report was filed on Tuesday.

Call Phoenix Police if you have any information about the dog's whereabouts.

Keelo was rescued from a shelter 7 months ago.
