PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- The Doce Fire is almost completely out. As of Friday morning, containment is at 96 percent as crews continue rehabilitation and mop-up efforts.
Granite Basin Road can only be accessed by residents with proof of residency. Alto Pit, Dosie Pit, Granite Basin Recreation area, Williamson Valley Trailhead and Almosta Ranch area trails also remain closed.
The fire began June 18, about seven miles northwest of Prescott. So far it has cost more than $7 million to battle.
Authorities say the fire was human caused, but the investigation is still going on.
