PHOENIX -- Investigators with the Phoenix Police Dept. are looking for the man who was driving a pickup truck when he ran down another man in a parking lot during a bar fight.

It happened Wednesday at about 2 a.m. outside O'Brien's Pub near 35th and Northern avenues.

According to police, the man who was driving the truck had become involved in a fight with another patron inside the bar. Both men had been ordered to leave the bar. Once in the parking lot, the fight continued between the two men and the victim stepped in to break up the fight.

The suspect then got behind the wheel of a pickup truck and left the parking lot. Moments later, the suspect drove back into the parking lot and, according to witnesses, accelerated to a high rate of speed and purposely struck the victim with the truck. The suspect then fled the parking lot with an unidentified passenger in his vehicle.

The 25-year-old victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for very serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 30-35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 180-200 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and is likely a regular at O'Brien's Pub. He may go by the name "Adrian." He was driving a gray, extended-cab Ford or similar pickup truck.

Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspect, and they are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

Anyone with information concerning this suspect, the suspect vehicle or the assault at the bar is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377. As always, any caller may remain anonymous.

Police also do not know the identity of the other man who was involved in the fight.
