One man dead in Tombstone homicidePosted: Updated:
TOMBSTONE, Ariz. -- A man and woman have been arrested in the stabbing death of a man in a Tombstone home.
On Monday, July 1, at approximately 9:30 pm, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a domestic altercation.
The initial investigation reveals that two men and a woman were at the residence at the time of the altercation, and it is believed that the two men started fighting when the victim, 28-year-old Jonathan Gibson, was stabbed multiple times in the torso and chest area. The second male and female left the residence and fled in an unknown direction.
Shortly after 7:30 am on Tuesday, July 2, both the man and woman were located in Tombstone, and brought to the Marshal’s Office for questioning.
The male suspect, 21-year-old Antonio DeJesus Molina of Tombstone was booked into the Cochise County Detention Division on a charge of Second Degree Murder and an outstanding warrant for Failure to Pay on underage consumption from the Tombstone Magistrate Court.
Molina is being held on a $200,000 bond for the murder charge and $555.00 bond for the warrant.
The female subject, 31-year-old Melissa Moser of Tombstone was booked into the Cochise County Detention Division on two outstanding felony warrants for larceny and trafficking in stolen property. Moser will have her initial appearance Wednesday morning.
