SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A redlight crash in Scottsdale Friday afternoon that involved three cars has left one man dead.

24-year-old Justin Snowbarger, who was driving a 2010 Honda Ridgeline, was headed east on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. He drove through a red light and hit David Price, 59, driving a 2013 Chevy Silverado westbound from Raintree Drive.

Police say the force of the impact caused the Chevy to crash into Kevin MacDougal's 1998 Nissan 240 SX.

MacDougal, 57, received major head trauma and was pronounced dead at the hospital. No other injuries were reported.

All the drivers were wearing their seat belts, and police have ruled out alcohol as a factor.

Snowbarger will be cited for not yielding to a red light.
