PINE TOP, Ariz. -- A new wildfire is growing in northeastern Arizona.

The Rock Creek Fire took off Friday evening due to windy conditions, and is now said to be approaching 1,500 acres.

Burnout operations were started Friday night, with 100 firefighters involved and additional resources on the way.

Fire officials are preparing for a possible Red Flag warning in the area later Saturday afternoon, which could possibly cause the fire to grow quickly.

The flames are not said to be threatening anything at this point. Campers in the area are being made aware of the fire.

The cause of the fire is believed to be human-caused.
