PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said a quick-thinking employee helped them arrest an armed robber Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at a vehicle restoration business near 23rd Avenue and Phelps.
Police said the suspect walked into the business, yelled at the owner to open the safe, and then shot him.
Fortunately, an employee saw the suspect walk into the business wearing a mask and called 9-1-1.
Police arrived before the suspect was able to get away and placed him under arrest.
The owner of the business was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
