EL MIRAGE, Ariz. -- El Mirage police said they arrested a man Friday morning for his alleged role in a shooting.
According to police, 23-year-old Aron Coffey shot 28-year-old Daniel Jolly following an altercation.
The shooting took place at a home near Dysart and Waddell roads.
Police said they arrived to find that Jolly had a gunshot wound to his upper right arm. He was treated by paramedics and then taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Coffey was still at the home when police arrived. He was arrested and booked into jail on one count of aggravated assault.
Police said the case remains under investigation.
